This book blew my mind away! Charlie is now in my list of favorite lead characters who kick ass! I did not expect the fantastical vibe of the book, since the cover can mislead anyone, I guess. Putting the cover aside, this book completely suck me in its world. Sawyer did wonders writing this book. Each detail, each description made me feel and think I was as if part of the story, standing beside Charlie as she grew into a character I learned to love.
The romance in the book wasn't the type to make me gag or give myself a facepalm. It was slow and sweet. Oh Caiden! You make me swoon. Please be mine!
A wonderful book to read with a cup of hot chocolate during a rainy day. It will catch your attention from the first sentence to the last, and leave you begging for the next installment.
